Queer & Disabled Focused Voice Workshop

Service Description

Whether you’re a performer, activist, retail/hospitality worker, or if you just love to yap- your voice is an incredibly important and powerful instrument. From our own experience we understand that queerness and disability may affect the unique relationship you have with your voice. So- we aim to create a fun, accessible and inclusive space, for people in our communities to build confidence and gain insight into how the human voice works. What Can I expect? Over 6 sessions we will guide you through the basics of voice training and care. This will include: Posture, Articulation, Projection, Stamina, Vocal health & More! The sixth session will include a short reading, presentation or performance of a text or on any topic of your choice.
