Who Am I?
I am very passionate about bringing the arts to people, no matter the background or the age. I believe it brings so much more than just being able to sing a nice tune and do a double pirouette. Through my own experiences with the arts, I discovered so much about myself, built my confidence and became the person I am today.
I have been teaching for 10 years in all disciplines of acting, singing and dance. That extends from working in Secondary schools, directing their musicals, plays and leading classes, to working with 4 year olds trying to have fun through singing and develop coordination, to 1-2-1 singing tutoring, prepping for grades, drama school auditions and harnessing technique.
Singing can feel very vulnerable, but this can be overcome through creativity and technical development. Through my breadth of training, I can tailor training to my student's individual needs and show how much joy, not fear, can be had when singing.

Training
2020-2023
The Brighton Academy
First Class BA (Hons) in Performing Arts

In the process of my degree, I was faced with daily challenges. It was a very hands-on and intense course that involved communicating with people, following detailed instruction and individual problem solving. After focussing a lot on Classical singing throughout my life, here, I learnt and harnessed many different styles of performing and singing, from Musical Theatre to Pop/Rock, whilst finessing my Classical skills.
2019-2020
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
Foundation in Musical Theatre
My training, in this highly reputable institution, involved large amounts of teamwork and intense training in all elements of Musical Theatre.

2018
Stagecoach Associate Diploma Teaching Performing Arts (ADPA) - Merit
This taught me the logistical nature of teaching, including planning, safeguarding, SEND training and tailoring teaching to the individual needs of students. This is all applicable to individual lessons and larger classes.
